Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Areas

All species of tree can be protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) from a single tree to all trees within a defined area.

If your trees are protected by a Tree Preservation Order, if you are within a Conservation Area or the trees are protected by a condition attached to a planning permission, then you will need consent for the works, however small.

Let us deal with the process of carrying out work on protected trees on your behalf.  Contact us for more info.

Protected Species & Habitats

To protect our environment, species and habitats in the UK, there are many pieces of legislation to adhere to when considering vegetation clearance works. Our staff are trained to assess our sites and record a wildlife risk assessment so that risk to the environment is kept to a minimum and legislation is followed.

Mammals: badger, bats (all species), water vole, otter, dormouse

Birds: all breeding and overwintering species including barn owl
